Bohuslav Větrovský invites you to the seminar “Time and Space That Exist Only in Our Projection?!” Starting with the seemingly simple question of what clocks actually measure, we will explore the present, memories and ideas about the future. What does our “now” mean? And what remains of the sense of time passing when the ordinary stream of thoughts falls silent?
We will encounter Einstein’s view of time, questions from quantum physics and the mystical experience of timelessness. We will distinguish between what can be measured, what a person experiences and what remains an open question. It is precisely at their intersection that the subject of this meeting begins.
