On 29 January 2026 we visited the Asylum House Open Heart o.p.s. in Prague, where we handed over vitamins NAMNAM as part of a charity initiative. The aim of this activity was to support families, mothers and children who find themselves in a difficult life situation and need not only social but also medical support.
Health is an essential prerequisite for coping with everyday challenges - and quality nutritional supplements can play an important role, especially for children and women who are going through a period of increased mental and physical stress.
Asylum House Open Heart o.p.s. is one of the most important social organisations in Prague. It focuses on helping:
mothers and fathers with children (at least one child under 15 years of age)
pregnant women before the birth of their first child
families in an acute crisis situation
The aim of the organisation is to help families to bridge a difficult period and gradually return to an independent and stable life.
The shelter offers comprehensive support that includes:
temporary accommodation
expert social counselling to help resolve crisis situations
mediation of other professional help
support in finding permanent housing
Thanks to this assistance, families have the chance to regain stability, security and decent living conditions.
Supporting projects that focus on mothers and children in need is an investment in the future of society as a whole.
