It was alive at the Naturamedicin headquarters in Prague on October 23, 2025! There was a popular seminar on the endocrine system and hormonal balance, focusing on how hormones work in everyday life - and why we should pay more attention to them than we think.
The whole evening was guided by the energetic lecturer Bohuslav Větrovský, who managed to translate complex biological processes into understandable, entertaining and often surprising connections.
Hormones were presented as an orchestra, with each endocrine gland playing its instrument. When they are in tune with each other - the body is in balance. If one musician plays a false note, chaos ensues.
Listeners discovered how hormones control sleep, digestion, energy, growth, stress, and mood - and learned what to do when the "orchestra" needs tuning up.
Practical demonstrations of simple exercises captured the most attention. Participants got up from their chairs, got moving, and tried a few easy movements that boosted their hormonal system and brought relief to body and mind.
There was everything from smiles to surprise that "so little can do so much".
A number of useful recommendations were also made during the seminar:
Sleep regularly and well (melatonin needs a regime!).
eat a balanced diet and don't chase insulin on a roller coaster
indulge in exercise to boost your mood and endorphins
manage stress instead of letting stress manage us
and don't forget iodine with selenium for a healthy thyroid
Attendees left with smiles, new knowledge and the belief that hormone health is not a science from another galaxy. All it takes is a few smart steps, a little exercise - and the body starts to play in harmony again.
Thanks to Bohuslav Vetrovsky and the Naturamedicin team, they have managed to turn a topic that can seem scientific and technical into a lively, enjoyable and practical experience for all.
