The Chinese caterpillar fungus is a fungus that parasitizes the insect larvae on which it feeds. The infested larva crawls into the ground before dying, where it gradually becomes a mycelium. It emerges in the summer and begins the cycle again, attacking insects. This cycle lasts about 6 years.
This fungus grows in China, Tibet and Nepal at altitudes from 3,800 to 6,000 metres above sea level. In terms of quality, the best caterpillar fungus grows in the Tibetan Plateau. There are over 300 species of this fungus.

In China, the caterpillar fungus is used as a natural antibiotic. The power of the caterpillar fungus has also been discovered by athletes who use it to restore the body's strength and quality recovery after a hard training or race. The fungus dilates blood vessels and thus improves the blood supply to the heart and lungs. This leads to improved athletic performance.
Chinese caterpillar fungus contains natural corticosteroids, it is used in the fight against cancer and other malignant diseases. In traditional Chinese medicine, it helps with kidney disease, asthma, memory loss and has a good overall effect on the lungs, especially in bronchitis. It improves immunity and even prolongs age.
Chinese caterpillar fungus continues to be the subject of numerous experiments in which it has been discovered to have anti-tumour properties, reduce fatigue, have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects and significantly boost immunity.
Our company uses the caterpillar fungus as an ingredient for the preparation of natural food supplements EQINIL and INYANGA. We only use high quality caterpillar fungus collected from the land, of origin in Tibet and China, not the artificially grown European variants that unfortunately often appear on the market lately.
