What (not) to eat and (not) to drink to cleanse your body

In the last article we discussed what detoxification is and why we should do it.
In this article, we will take a closer look at which foods positively and negatively affect this process.

Food and detoxification

Most of us have a certain intuition to know which foods are healthy and which are not, so we try to choose the best foods for us when shopping.
The problem arises when we often eat out - then it becomes more difficult to control the ingredients in the dishes we eat.
The best way to eat healthily is to prepare meals ourselves, when this is not possible, we should consciously choose where we eat. It is helpful to take a conscientious look at your eating habits more widely, when you see that your menu includes fast food and alcohol almost every day, you will see the need to change your habits more quickly.
Limit your consumption of highly processed foods. It contains a lot of toxins that are problematic to metabolise.
Also reduce excessive salt intake. Salt retains water in the body, which slows down the removal of toxins and can lead to kidney overload.
Also limit sugar. Its excessive consumption contributes to a number of diseases that hinder effective detoxification.
Are there specific foods with proven detoxifying effects? Yes, but they should be consumed in reasonable quantities. Here are some of them:

  • Lemons
  • Ginger
  • Cordyceps
  • Beetroot
  • Nettle
  • Dandelion
  • Berries

Drinks

Drink water!

Regular consumption of adequate water is crucial for proper detoxification of the body. Water helps to transport and remove toxins in the urine.

Green tea also supports cleansing. It contains antioxidants that neutralise harmful free radicals.

Alcohol, on the other hand, is an obstacle to detoxification. It slows down the liver, which is responsible for removing toxins from the body. In addition, alcohol provides 'empty' calories that don't provide essential nutrients.

Furthermore, alcohol encourages us to eat junk food - and to consume more alcohol 🙂

Dietary supplements

Effective cleansing of the body is a long process. Therefore, if you want to support it, reach for natural dietary supplements with a long-lasting effect.

Natural preparations will help you cleanse your body and avoid unwanted side effects in the process. There are also herbs that can be your allies in detoxification:

Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) - supports liver function and contributes to cleansing the body by stimulating the excretory system.

Rhizomatous perzel (Elymus repens) - supports the excretory function of the kidneys, facilitating the removal of toxins.

Ground mace (Tribulus terrestris) - helps to cleanse the blood and maintain normal iron levels.

All three of these herbs can be found in our natural dietary supplement INETHAN, which contains a total of 8 herbs, selected to comprehensively support detoxification of the body.

If you are looking for a simple solution that provides your body with everything it needs to cleanse itself of toxins, INETHAN is for you. Watch the video below to find out more about INETHAN.

Conclusion

Changing your eating habits is a process that takes time and patience. Don't expect to completely change your diet overnight; remember that cleansing your body is also a long-term process. Your body needs time to get rid of accumulated toxins. Therefore, it is important to follow a healthy diet and drink plenty of water regularly to support this process.
